Dropping with sparkly guitars and distant vocals, sprinkling in roughly a bazillion more elements (choppy chords/flowing melody/heroic guitar solo/retro vibe) to keep things unpredictable, opening track ‘Waiting For You’ is an EP in itself. Classy classic rocker ‘Darkest Skies’ has a driving bluesy backbone and a big ole dirty bassline. Tense and crunchy guitars send out a warning that darker, colder ‘Tonight’ is imminent, in all its gothy, modern metal, haunting mash-up glory. ‘If I Forget Tomorrow’ closes the EP with glittery electro, gorgeous harmonies, beats coming from all angles and lyrics from the heart. Ever evolving, never the same, each track on ‘It’s Only Make Believe’ holds their own and makes this an absolute belter of an EP.
