Circus 66
Elements
Self Released
Out on March 28
Sharp as a bolt of lightning ‘Replace the Pain’ lands loud, hard and fast, yelling that Circus 66’s second album is in town. Annabelle Zaychenko’s flame throwing voice makes sure every lyric of ‘Elements’ lands. She attacks each line with the voice of an aggressive fallen angel while the energetic, unstoppable guitars are like new wave of classic rock sugar rush. And whatever speed or style ‘Elements’ serves, this album is always pretty sweet. ‘Save The Damn World’ hits Lzzy Hale style vocal heights. High octane pep talk ‘A Little Piece of Magic’ is a classy earworm with solid guitar work. ‘We All Need Saving’ shares stirring vocals, steadier guitars and rolling rhythms which blend together beautifully. But even when the music gets softer, it’s still powerful. ‘This Aint No Heaven’ really lets the guitars loose for epic soundscape solos, surrounded by Annabelle’s spellbinding vox. ‘Elements’ is a real showcase for what Circus 66 can do. And these aren’t cheap tricks. This is the real deal.
