Nothing is left undone or unsung, and each song is a showcase of what they can do. ‘Lie You’re Living’ is a fast-paced fireball of gutsy riffs and straight to the point lyrics. The title track combines haunting with heavy guitars – and one hell of a catchy chorus. ‘Sex With No Substance’ glams it up and lowers the tone. Closing track ‘All We Need’ is so stripped back, raw and emotional it sends chills. ‘Black Dogs and Sad Men EP’ is a journey of five powerful tracks which each hit hard in different ways and for different reasons.
