‘Tremor’ has one of THE BEST album covers of all time. I mean, who doesn’t love a girl with blue hair***???? It’s edgy, it’s different, it’s rebellious, it’s soooooo damn cool… And that pretty much sums up ‘Tremor’ and its album artwork too. Ha! The hazy vocals have a retro feel, clawing and snarling their way through songs serving dirty basslines, solid beats and red hot riffs. Grunge, hard, classic, punk, stoner, garage and psychedelic all play a part in this album, but the main character is the vintage vibe. Basically, it’s got all the good bits from rock music throughout the decades. Superseed can do big tunes, breezy rock, scuzz and fuzz, and create a massive buzz while they’re at it. ‘Wake’ is the jolliest, jauntiest little track to ever start in such an unsettling way, with harmonies for miles, classic guitar fire power and a kinda stoner surfer sound. ‘Give Me Something’ is in danger of being described as glam rock, so stomping are its beats and so heroic are its guitars. There’s maturity and experience about this album. ‘Tremor’ is an impressive listen.
