Is that a refreshing EP of edgy, polished tracks that you’ve bought us? We’ll defo take that. Picking up from where grunge left off but sounding much less grubby and dissatisfied, ‘Home’ is an absolute stunner of a debut EP. And - don’t wanna dwell on this, but for someone who is hurtling towards a significant birthday at a rapid rate of knots – age is factor. The Trivia girls are in their mid-teens. God. Damn. ‘Schizophrenia’ has a sassy chugging groove, fronted by an ass-kicking swagger. ‘Fade’ has a darker twist and ‘Tonight’ carries you away on crashing waves of guitars and rich, emotional vocals. ‘Home’ is too classy to scream, ‘Look at me!!!’ Nor does it need to. This EP simply strides along with purpose, focus and confidence – and that’s an intoxicating trio that ALWAYS turns heads.
